The following scholarships are offered by Westbourne Grammar School:

Year 7 and Year 9         Academic Scholarships

Year 7 to 11                 Music Scholarships

We advertise in the local newspapers in December/January of each year that the scholarship/placement testing for Academic Scholarships will take place in February/March for enrolment into Year 7 and 9 the following year. All students entering the Senior School (except Current Westbourne Grammar School students unless they wish to be considered for a scholarship) need to sit the placement test. Scholarships are awarded to students who have performed well academically in the February/March intake at the discretion of the School Principal.

Year 10                        General Excellence

Details of the Year 10 general excellence scholarships are:

• Ray Horsburgh Scholarship - 1 boy
• Diane Johns Scholarship - 1 girl
• Awarded approximately July each year.
• These scholarships are for new students only
• Current Westbourne Grammar School students not eligible to apply
