Soccer

Soccer is a very popular sport for both boys and girls at Westbourne. In Grades 5 and 6 the teams are gender mixed. When students enter the Senior School, girls' soccer is offered in Terms 1 and 4 and boys’ soccer is offered in Terms 2 and 3. The School has many qualified and experienced coaches who are either on the teaching staff or are part time specialists. All games and training sessions are conducted on the two full sized pitches located behind the main gymnasium. The focus of the program is to improve students’ physical, technical and games sense skills.
