Westbourne Grammar School
Religion
The School is a non-denominational Christian School.
All assemblies commence with a hymn, prayers and a homily.
All students are required to take part in the regular services of worship, which are held for each year level, as well as special services for the whole school on occasions such as Easter and Christmas.
Studies in Religion and Life are part of the curriculum up to year 8.
The School does not aim to replace individual involvement in local churches, but rather to reinforce it.
The School does not seek to convert anyone to Christianity and respects all religious faiths, however no student is exempt from the religious programme of the School.
