I am pleased to announce the appointment of Claire Randall to the position of Manager of the Health Centre. Claire will be replacing Lennie Fester who is retiring after almost four decades of exemplary service to our school. Over the years, Lennie has not only become integral to our community, she has also been instrumental in the development of the school’s excellent medical facilities and programs – all of which have given our students and staff access to a modern, fully equipped Health Centre administered by a team of well qualified health professionals.
Claire comes to Westbourne with a wide range of experience in all aspects of primary care nursing that includes work in hospitals in both England and Australia. A graduate of the University of Hertfordshire, Claire has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in emergency nursing, a Diploma in Higher Education Nursing specialising in the treatment of children and full nursing registration. In addition, she has also completed numerous professional learning courses and is currently working at the Royal Children’s Hospital.
We look forward to welcoming Claire to Westbourne when she takes up her role in the second half of 2018.
When the SS America heads out to sea, etiquette and convention disappear out the portholes as a cast of zany characters set out to find true love, charting the high seas of topsy-turvy relationships, mistaken identities and foiled schemes.
Once again Westbourne’s dynamic professional production team, award winning director Paul Watson, choreographer Kendrie Coonan and our own Director of Music, Andrew Leach, are at helm of this exciting, high voltage production. With words and music by Cole Porter, Anything Goes features a raft of classic numbers including: You’re the Top, I Get a Kick Out of You, Blow, Gabriel Blow and the toe-tapping title song, Anything Goes.
Packed full of romance, wonderful music and show stopping dance routines Anything Goes is non-stop entertainment for the whole family.
Don’t miss this fantastic production of one of the most popular musicals of all time.
