Wyndham City is currently recruiting School Crossing Supervisors to help ensure the safety of our children and others at pedestrian crossings. You will be the friendly face that kids remember and trust.

This is a permanent part time position of 1 (one) hour in the morning (between 7.30 and 9.00) and for 1 (one) hour in the afternoon (between 2.30 and 4.00) Monday to Friday, during school terms.

Reporting to the Senior School Crossing Support Officer you will be responsible for ensuring the safe passage of all persons utilising the crossings, placing flags and stop signs, operating traffic control signals and educating pedestrians on the safe use of school crossings.

You will demonstrate reliability, excellent communication skills and an understanding of school crossing requirements.  You must be contactable by phone before 7:30am on school days.  If you enjoy the outdoors and interacting with the public this role may be for you!

You will require a current Working with Children Check and will need to undertake a Police Check as part of the recruitment process.
