We had a wonderful turn out at the Verdon Centre for the annual Father’s Day breakfast. It’s always a fantastic way to start the day with good food, great coffee and the opportunity for students to show their dad off to their friends. This year, the photo booth was running hot with dads and their children posing together in all manner of wacky accessories. Students were also encouraged to write a message to their dad either on the graffiti wall or onto a sticky label which their dad could wear with pride. During the morning we had a ‘Know Your Dad’ quiz and no event is complete without the ‘Dad Joke’ competition; they seem to be getting worse each year but they are so bad you can’t help yourself but laugh out loud; what a great way to end the morning.
A special thanks to staff who helped out and as always, a big thank you to families who came along and made it such a lovely event.
