Friends of Music and Performing Arts (FOMPA)

Enthusiastic, committed and enormously supportive, Friends of Music and Performing Arts (FOMPA) is a group of volunteers from the School community. Meeting on a regular basis, FOMPA organises special functions and assists at events such as music and drama productions.

As a sub-committee of the Friends of Westbourne Association (FOWA), FOMPA initiatives are both friendraising and fundraising – providing opportunities for parents to get together to support students involved in what has become an extensive program of performing and creative arts.

Profits from fundraising events are directed entirely into projects that support the music and arts program throughout the school.

We know how busy our parent community is – so the level of your involvement is flexible. You may like to attend meetings, or just want to be part of our database to be called upon when extra assistance is needed. It is entirely up to you.

Meetings usually occur twice a term on Wednesday evenings.

Friends of Sport (FOS)

Friends of Sport (FOS) is a sub-committee of the Friends of Westbourne Association (FOWA). As such, its goal is to support, enrich and enhance the School’s sporting program.

Any parent in the School is most welcome to join FOS and become involved in the wide range of activities. Throughout the year, FOS seeks assistance for a variety of events – some large, others small. Profits from any fundraising events are directed entirely into projects that provide support for the sporting program throughout the school.

We know how busy our parent community is – so your level of involvement is flexible. You may like to attend meetings, or just be part of our database to be called upon when we need some extra help. It is entirely up to you. Should you have expertise you think could be beneficial to FOS, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Friends of Sport meet approximately twice a term. Meetings are held at the school in the Board Room at Truganina.
