A small number of scholarships for General Excellence and Music are awarded each year.
The School offers General Excellence Scholarships for entry into Year 7. Academic excellence as well as overall engagement in sport, co-curricular programs, community service and contribution to school service are all taken into consideration.
A major Music scholarship is also available for entry into Year 7. All applicants must sit for the academic scholarship testing as well as undertake an audition on their chosen instrument. Music scholars are expected to participate fully in the musical and performance life of the extensive Music program for the duration of their time at Westbourne.
In November, visit the School website and click on the link. Families already in the School or with applications in for Year 7 will receive email notification that registrations are open.
Students come from a diverse range of social, cultural and economic backgrounds both locally and internationally. The School requires all new student applicants from Year 5 onwards to sit a placement test to ensure we are able to offer appropriate academic programs and pathways.
For our major intake years (Year 7 and Year 9) we run placement testing in March each year for prospective students currently in Year 5 and Year 8 respectively.
