A number of scholarships for General Excellence and Music are awarded each year.
The School offers General Excellence Scholarships for entry into Year 7. Academic excellence as well as overall engagement in sport, co-curricular programs, community service and contribution to school service are all taken into consideration.
All applicants must sit for the scholarship test on the nominated day. Scholarships aim to support students who will make a strong and positive contribution to their learning and to life at Westbourne.

Students come from a diverse range of social, cultural and economic backgrounds both locally and internationally. The School requires all new student applicants from Year 5 onwards to sit a placement test to ensure we are able to offer appropriate academic programs and pathways.
For our major intake years (Year 7 and Year 9) we run placement testing in March each year for prospective students currently in Year 5 and Year 8 respectively.
