Each program is tailored to meet the unique needs of its participants, offering flexibility in both content and duration – study tours can range from a one to three day immersive experience, a few weeks, or the ultimate extended stay of up to three months.
Whilst we work with you to build a bespoke program, our standard modules include a variety of activities, such as workshops in STEM, Visual and Performing Arts, Sports, Language Acquisition, as well as integration into mainstream classes for collaboration and integration with full time students. Cultural experiences, incursions and excursions further enrich the program.

WELCOME Upon arrival at we match our study tour participants with a ‘buddy’ for the duration – a local student of similar age who will make sure it’s a great experience. After a brief welcoming ceremony everyone heads off to explore the school while getting to know each other. | AFL WORKSHOPS Life at Westbourne wouldn’t be complete without discovering our national sport, Australian Rules Football. The introductory AFL workshop is a chance to get moving, learn a new skill, have a great time and become familiar with the oval ball! | LANGUAGE ACQUISITION Sport is just one characteristic of Australian culture and our language acquisition module provides a hands-on encounter with others. Food, art, nature, heritage and conservation provide pathways to explore our unique words and expressions. | |

Along with their buddy, students join our mainstream curriculum classes to experience a taste of Australian education and participate in a typical learning experience. | E-SPORT IMMERSION
Westbourne competes in the Australian eSports league and our onsite eSport Studio is home to virtual, augmented and mixed reality, and other exciting gaming technologies that will inspire and test creative thinking skills. | STEM
STEM can be a deep dive exploration into molecular reactions, designing and building a 3D model, engineering for tomorrow’s travel, or testing your mathematical prowess in a game of Beat the Teacher. | |

POOL PROGRAM  With onsite indoor heated learn-to-swim, and 25 metre Olympic grade pools, water activities are safe, fun and designed to maximise confidence. Water dance, exercise and lap swims are all optional. | ART AND CULTURE  Explore the colours, patterns, and textures synonymous with Australia. Workshops are designed for creative and cultural insight and may include mentoring with an Indigenous Elder. | TRIPS AND EXCURSIONS Whether it’s up close and personal with Australian wildlife or exploring the famous laneways of Melbourne’s CBD, our unique way of life can be experienced through our exciting tourism program. |
