Class of 2025 celebrates outstanding VCE results

The Class of 2025 has delivered an exceptional set of VCE results that reflect both their capability and their commitment to learning.

Our Dux and 2025 School Vice-Captain, Advika Anoop, achieved an outstanding ATAR of 99.90, a result that positions her strongly as she works towards her goal of studying medicine at university. Advika has been a valued leader within our community, contributing thoughtfully to school life through her work as a prefect and involvement in inter-house debating and chess. Her commitment to both scholarship and character has set a powerful example for her peers.

Across the cohort, we saw an increase in the number of students achieving scores above 80, 85 and 90.

  • 52% of students achieved an ATAR of 80 or higher, placing them in the top 20% of the state.
  • 28% achieved 90 or higher, placing them in the top 10%.
  • 10% achieved 95 or higher, placing them in the top 5%.

Academic excellence was evident across the breadth of studies, with study scores of 40 or above earned in more than 20 subjects. A particular highlight was a perfect study score in Art Making and Exhibiting for Jiake (Iris) Li.

A further highlight was the 25 students awarded the VCE Baccalaureate, recognising their commitment to the demanding combination of higher-level mathematics and language studies.

The cohort’s median ATAR of 81.90 reflects a strong and consistent commitment to learning.

Principal and Managing Director Dr Adrian Camm congratulated the cohort, noting that this year’s results reflect the character, diligence and aspiration of our learners. “Their growth has been shaped by hard work and a genuine desire to make their mark. We are proud of who they are and excited for who they will become.”

He also acknowledged the vital role of staff and families, expressing appreciation for the guidance and support that carried students through their final years of schooling. “These outcomes would not be possible without the expertise of our teachers and the ongoing support of families. Together, they have created the conditions for our students to thrive.”

As the Class of 2025 moves into the next stage of their lives, we congratulate them on their achievements and look forward to the impact they will make beyond Westbourne.
