Scholarships

Apply for a 2027 Westbourne scholarship.

Our scholarships are open to students in Years 7, 10 and 11 and recognise those who strive for excellence in the classroom, on the stage, on the field or in their community.

We offer five scholarship categories: Academic Excellence, General Excellence, Music, Sport and First Nations.

Each celebrates students who demonstrate dedication, creativity and leadership.

Scholarship Categories

Academic excellence

The Ray Horsburgh Memorial Scholarship and the Principal’s Scholarship recognise students who achieve outstanding academic results and demonstrate leadership in their learning.

General excellence

This scholarship is awarded to students who excel academically while making meaningful contributions to school life or their wider community. It celebrates those who bring energy, resilience and a commitment to personal growth.

Music

For students with a passion for music, this scholarship nurtures talent and supports high-level performance, ensuring students can continue to develop both musically and academically.

Sport

Awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional sporting ability while maintaining their academic progress. This scholarship recognises commitment, teamwork, and a strong sense of sportsmanship.

First Nations

This scholarship supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students achieving their academic and personal goals in a nurturing and supported environment.

12 January 2026Applications close.
30 January 2026Selected students are invited to register for scholarship testing.
14 February 2026Scholarship testing.
27 March 2026Interview invitations extended to shortlisted applicants.
30 April 2026Scholarship offers made.
