Plans unveiled for new Music and Performing Arts Centre

Westbourne’s renowned music and performing arts program will have a new home, with a purpose-built facility designed to support the exceptional learning, creativity and performance already taking place across the school.

As part of Stage Two of Westbourne’s 15-Year Master Plan, pre construction works for our new Music and Performing Arts Centre are set to commence in September, with the Centre scheduled to open in early 2028.

The purpose-built precinct will include 20 music studios, performance and rehearsal spaces, a major performance venue, professional recording studio, keyboard laboratories, classrooms and collaborative learning spaces.

The project will also deliver significant landscaping and new outdoor spaces to strengthen connections across the Truganina campus.

Together with the transformation of Trinity Hall into a Black Box Theatre and refurbishment of the school’s auditorium, this next stage of the Master Plan will provide exceptional facilities that reflect the strength of Westbourne’s music and performing arts program and inspire generations of students to come.
