Our Athletics team competed extremely well at the District Athletics Carnival on Tuesday 28 August, with many students receiving ribbons for placing in their respective events. It was an extremely pleasing result to see Westbourne finish first, and take home the Co-educational trophy, as well as the boys overall winner’s trophy, and our girls finishing second overall.

We had some students perform exceptionally well, securing themselves placement in the next stage of Division competition.

The students who placed either first or second in their event, earning them Division qualification were: Cody Williams, Samara Fernando, Nikki Rupapara, Claudia Giambattista, Shiven Chaudhari, Sebastian Loupas, Lachlan McGuire, Kayden Bartolo, Nikita Kumar, Georgia Ballan, Elliott Hull, Lachlan Boyer, Gabrielle Vincent, Anthony Tabone, Charlie Hull, Sophia Ballan and Aydin Metin.

Well done to our Athletics team for your achievements this year. A big thank you to all the classroom teachers who assisted with training. Our students all performed extremely well, and showed dedication and commitment to their events, which showed in the results of the day.
