Our school is mourning the passing of former student and staff member, Ragnar Haabjoern. A member of the Class of 1994, Choir Captain in that year and contributor to Literata, Ragnar returned to Westbourne in 2011 as a program mentor for the Year 9 Imagine program. In his time at the school he made many friends, developing positive relationships with both professional colleagues and students. As a teacher he inspired his students, sharing with them his passions for environmentalism, sustainability and fairness and encouraging them to be highly active in the protection and conservation of the environment Vale Ragnar. You will be greatly missed by your former students and colleagues at Westbourne Grammar.
