This prestigious accolade celebrates schools at the forefront of change and innovation. 

What sets us apart 

Reflecting on the award, Principal, Dr Adrian Camm said:

The award recognises the depth of innovation at Westbourne, including initiatives such as: 

• AI Avatar: Dr Camm’s digital twin, featured on our website, answers questions in real time. A teaching and learning version is also being developed to provide similar 24/7 support for teachers and students. 

• AI Academy: Students in Years 7–12 gain a high-level understanding of generative AI while developing practical skills for its use in daily life. Through hands-on projects and interactive workshops, students explore fundamental concepts, applications, and ethical considerations – learning how AI can help shape a positive future. 

• CyberTrail: A bespoke micro-credentialing program offering students and staff the opportunity to earn industry-recognised qualifications in emerging fields.
