For decades, virtual online worlds have based their foundation on socialisation, imparting knowledge and establishing a shared culture with millions of people. Whilst we still don’t know what the metaverse will look like, virtual online worlds continue to provide enriching, vibrant hubs of activity where students develop life-long skills required for a dynamic and increasingly digital future.
